Hello Parents!

We hope you and your family have kept well during these trying times.

Our school has been open and will continue to remain open to serve all essential works and the greater public community.

Thanks to Ms. Gayani and Ms. Maria who have been working throughout these tough times to ensure that our kids continue to receive the excellent education that they deserve.

Ms. Samanthi has come back to the school as well to continue her duties with the infants who have started coming back to school.

We hope everything starts getting back to normal soon, it has been a tumultuous time for everyone.

We are taking extra precautions sanitizing our school and keeping everything clean. We will not be allowing parents to come inside the school until further notice. We will be taking every child's temperature before they enter the school until further notice.

Please drop off your children at the wooden gate wearing a mask. Children must take off their shoes at the door and after they come they must wash their hands. They can wear their extra pair of shoes that they keep at the school.

Social distancing for the pre-school kids will be impossible but, we will be encouraging kids over 2 years to wear a mask inside the classroom. We will try our best in every way to keep them safe. We will sanitize the classrooms, toys, tables, etc., as many times during the day as we can. We will encourage the children to wash their hands, to not share their food and we will have them nap at a 6ft distance from each other during nap time.

If your child is sick it is important that you do not bring them to school.

If you or your child was around someone who had or has tested positive for Covid-19 please keep them home for two weeks in isolation.

We will do our best to keep our students and teachers safe at school to the best of our abilities. Please be aware that we are taking every precaution we can to ensure the safety of everyone that enters our school.

For the Summer we have decided that we will have Summer School instead of Summer Camp as the children have missed so much of the school year. This will ensure that they will be ready for the upcoming school year.

However, we will plan some interesting activities during the week to uphold the spirit of Summer.

We will not be hiring any outside staff to come entertain the children therefore we will not be charging the extra $100 for Summer this year.

Please tell your friends and neighbors about our Summer program. We will take kids up to first grade for the Summer. We are enrolling for the new school year as well. Please help us get back on our feet and to get all our furloughed staff back as soon as possible!

We did have a small graduation for our kinder kids on Friday, June 26th only with their parents! We wish them all the best when they leave us to their new schools.

Happy Summer keep cool and safe!

Yours Lovingly,

Ms. Mary
